Wow. So I was expecting the federal taxes that I owed, and maybe even a VA state refund (altho small), but seriously? The amount I owe to DC is RIDICULOUS to the 10th. I don’t even make that much money people! I’m sure this is some kind of punishment for moving, switching jobs and also having one last freelance check last year.
I used taxslayer – upon a recco from a colleague – and I thought it would be fine. Maybe the numbers are accurate, but man, this just seems unfair! And this coming from a Democrat in the midst of this economy.
Sigh…
Overall, another day on the books, but at least tomorrow is Wednesday!
